Format Title Mba Business Consulting
Format Description
The MBA Business Consulting course at Montclair State University connects graduate business students with real-world organizations to solve high-impact, growth-oriented challenges. Over the course of one semester, a full class of 16–24 MBA students, working in 4–6 interdisciplinary teams, will tackle a strategic issue presented by an industry partner

This is a live class consulting project, not a capstone. All teams work on the same problem in parallel and are encouraged to bring diverse ideas, fresh research, and structured recommendations to the table. Guided by a seasoned faculty facilitator, students dive deep into the issue, explore the business model, and deliver actionable solutions through presentations and strategic reports.

Key Benefits to Industry Partners:
  • Gain fresh strategic insights from multiple MBA student teams exploring your challenge
  • Receive competitive analysis, customer research, and growth recommendations grounded in academic frameworks and business best practices
  • Explore multiple solution paths for the same business question, with the benefit of comparison
  • Engage with high-performing graduate students and build a pipeline for future talent
  • Contribute to education while receiving real value in return — at no cost to the partner
