Project Synopsis: Challenge/Opportunity
Vyoo is an ambitious early-stage company developing an AI-driven sales call assistant platform aimed at transforming how sales teams conduct, analyze, and improve their outreach and conversion performance. Built to help sales reps close more deals with less manual effort, Vyoo delivers real-time insights, call summarization, and automated follow-up recommendations—augmenting human selling with the power of conversational AI.
Vyoo is at a crucial inflection point: it must sharpen product-market fit, identify the most promising B2B customer segments, and design a go-to-market (GTM) motion that accelerates user acquisition and positions the company for early revenue and investor readiness.
Fordham MBA students will act as embedded consultants, shaping and stress-testing a focused B2B GTM strategy, validating customer personas and pain points, identifying high-ROI verticals, and recommending improvements to product positioning and feature development. The team will also model revenue paths and define key KPIs for growth and sales performance.
Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required
  • Conduct customer discovery interviews with sales leaders, RevOps professionals, and inside sales reps to identify ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and primary use cases for AI in sales calls.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape of sales tech, especially in AI-driven call analytics, sales enablement tools, and conversation intelligence.
  • Test Vyoo’s unique value proposition (UVP) and painkiller potential with targeted outreach, surveys, and A/B tested messaging.
  • Provide feedback-based recommendations for product refinement, integrations (e.g., with CRMs like Salesforce or HubSpot), and key differentiators.
  • Build a full-funnel sales and marketing plan, including:
    • High-priority ICPs and verticals
    • Targeted outbound and inbound sales strategies
    • Messaging that resonates with sales teams
    • GTM channels and budget recommendations
  • Recommend a tech stack to support sales operations (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, call tracking)
  • Develop realistic 12-, 24-, and 36-month revenue models based on qualified pipeline estimates and conversion benchmarks.
  • Draft an investor-facing growth and monetization strategy based on traction and addressable market assumptions.
  • Execute and measure 2–3 pilot campaigns or outreach strategies to assess traction.
Project Synopsis: Expected Results
This project will be successful if the student team:
  • Delivers a refined, tested GTM strategy that addresses real buyer pain points.
  • Defines and prioritizes B2B verticals most likely to convert in early-stage sales.
  • Proposes and validates messaging that resonates with sales teams and sales enablement leaders.
  • Builds a sales growth model supported by industry benchmarks and early traction.
  • Executes 2–3 sales tactics (e.g., cold outreach, demo scheduling campaigns) and provides actionable feedback.
  • Helps Vyoo sharpen investor communications with a clear, data-driven growth thesis.
