I have helped run a commercial printer for nearly 13 years.  I have taken on nearly every role during this time from bookkeeping to design work to sales and even production.  I helped modernize a 70+ year old family business and helped head the creation and implementation of our Offset Hunger initiative with Feeding America.  Over the years I have helped grow the company after a severe economic downturn in the industry as well as navigate the perils of Covid-19 where we saw many in our industry close their doors.

My experience ranges from customer service and job management to problem solving and practical skills in both design and manufacturing.  I have managed projects for Fortune 500 companies as well as NJ based corporations such as Ferrero Roche, Merck, Johnson & Johnson, & Celgene.

My past jobs and life experiences include coaching soccer, volunteer firefighter, corporate accounts payable and receivable, department manager, and restaurateur.  I believe my unique skillset and experience would be applicable to a wide range of student interests. 

After graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno, I opened Nevada's largest paint-your-own-pottery studio.  During my years at Playful Potter, I learned a lot about class and product line development, staff management, marketing, ordering and logistics, and most importantly, having fun at my job.  I sold Playful Potter in 2015 after my son was born.  
Artfully Yours was born from a need to produce easy to teach canvas classes in a studio setting.  It tied in with my mural art that I began in 1994.  Being a micro-business, I was easily able to pivot and expand my offerings during the COVID shut down.  
I served on the executive board of the Contemporary Ceramics Studios Association for four years.  During that time, we went through two CEO terminations and the hiring of a wonderful executive director who is still serving the organization after a decade.  My duties included providing oversight and guidance to the international organization, assisting with convention planning and execution and plan development for eliminating lead in the PYOP industry.
I am honored to have received the CCSA President's Award, CCSA Create for the Cure Supplier Award and the CCSA Create for the Cure Member Award.

I am currently an investor with Lockheed Martin Ventures - the VC arm of Lockheed Martin. My focus in on the semiconductor, manufacturing, and propulsion industries. Previous to this role, I was an aerodynamics engineer for the corporation conducting systems integration activities and new platform designs. My educational experience in these roles stem from an undergraduate degree from Penn State and 2 masters degrees from the University of Florida. In my "spare time" I like to be outdoors and moving - playing sports, hiking, working out, etc.
