About Tucson Hebrew Academy

Tucson Hebrew Academy (THA) is our community’s premier Jewish Day School — where inspiring Jewish values, academic excellence, and a nurturing community come together in a safe, secure, and vibrant learning environment. On our newly updated campus, students thrive through a dynamic curriculum that blends rigorous academics with innovation and creativity. Our state-of-the-art Makerspace/STEM Lab fosters hands-on exploration, problem-solving, and design thinking. Every student participates in our Gardening Program, connecting environmental stewardship with Jewish values of care for the world. Our new outdoor learning spaces bring science, art, and reflection into nature, encouraging curiosity and collaboration beyond the classroom. With dual language learning in English and Hebrew, plus Spanish enrichment, a thriving arts program, and strong PE and health education, THA cultivates the whole child — mind, body, and spirit. Students from across the Jewish community are welcomed and embraced at THA. Our school culture is grounded in timeless Jewish values shared by all denominations, strengthening our bonds with one another and deepening each student’s Jewish identity through culture, community, and connection. At Tucson Hebrew Academy, our mission is simple: to provide a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment where students can grow, belong, and shine.
