I have worked in child welfare for 16 years in many roles. I have been in higher education at University of Central Florida in the School of Social Work in academia for 7 1/2 years teaching child welfare classes and other classes across the curriculum. I started at the university as the Title IV-E coordinator teaching child welfare classes, coordinating student placement in child welfare agencies for internships, and assisting students after graduation to obtain employment.
