About LifeScene
LifeScene (formerly Family and Children’s Services of Greater Lynn) is a multiservice community nonprofit offering direct services and comprehensive support to underserved and socially vulnerable populations. As an organization it is our mission to emphasize empowerment through community and remove barriers so that youth, parents and families can find, access and receive skills to build assets, resiliency and self-sufficiency While we are a relatively small organization, LifeScene’s services tackle some of the largest systemic issues in our community. We recognize that there are needs that are unmet and constantly work to improve our efforts and resources to meet the needs of our community. Within the organization, we provide programs that are grouped into two core categories:
Family Services – Support services to help children and parents develop skills, knowledge, and build stable, productive, and healthy lives.
Youth Services – Paid career and workforce development program that incorporates civic engagement, service learning and financial literacy and sexual health education.
Through the programs, LifeScene has a direct and positive impact on hundreds of individuals every year; addressing specific needs and offer proven and professional managed services in multiple languages through center-based and in-home settings.
